MELT MORPH EVOLVE

A reverse abecedarian dedicated to our mortality and the transitions that capture us.

Zealous and zesty

Yes, once it was so

Xenial and charming

World appearing aglow

Vast and untraveled

Unique, undefined

This thrilling adventure

Space crossing with time

Rather enchanting

Quite perfected it seemed

Perceiving all existence

Once locked in a dream

Not bound by a conscious

Might one be so in bliss

Let a soul remain free

Knowing not what’s been missed

Judge not,

lest ye be judged for yourselves

Inside each of us lies insight

Hidden ‘neath layers of cells

Growing deep in the pit

Fruitful seeds surely nourish

Evolution from youth to aged

Death doth flourish

Cry not in the dimness, alone with just tears

Bring light to your life, conquer all fears

Admit you are nothing and offer up cheers

To the good and the evil that make up our years
